Born in London in 1959, Jasper Morrison graduated from the Department of Design at Kingston Polytechnic in 1982 and then studied at the Royal College of Art. Having opened his own studio “Office for Design” in London in 1986, Morrison’s early designs were manufactured by Aram and SCP in London, Neotu in Paris, FSB in Germany, and Cappellini in Italy.
In the 1990s, the designer collaborated with global brands such as Alessi, Flos, Magis, and Rosenthal. In the 2000s, he provided consultancy to brands such as Muji, Samsung, Ideal Standard, and Established & Sons, and worked as the art director of Punkt, a Swiss electronics brand.
Jasper Morrison has been included in many exhibitions at museums including Axis Gallery and Musée des Arts Décoratifs Bordeaux. Today, he has offices in London, Tokyo, and Paris.
