The synergy of geometry and imagination sparked the idea for the iconic Traccia-designed low table designed by Swiss artist Meret Oppenheim in 1939, which he called the “Bird’s Leg Table” for obvious reasons.
The slender legs and clawed feet in polished cast bronze are a tribute to the classic claw-leg furniture of centuries past.
